ConcertPro (SaaS) — Project Overview
ConcertPro is a software platform Acadia Music Group is building (with David Norton Consulting) to help concert promoters and venues manage event logistics and simplify performance royalty (PRO) reporting—while improving promotion, booking coordination, and discovery.
What problem are we solving?
Running live music events involves a lot of moving parts—booking, venue details, set lists, availability, promotion, and (often) PRO licensing/reporting. ConcertPro is designed to reduce the administrative burden and help events run smoother while keeping information organized in one place.
Who is it for?

Subscription users who create/manage events and need clean reporting and logistics tools.
Event Planners & Venues
Bars, coffee shops, restaurants, clubs, markets, booking agents, and special events groups.
Artists
Bands, solo artists, and DJs (free accounts) to manage sets, availability, and profiles.
Fans
Find events and follow favorite bands, venues, and locations (free accounts).
Contractors
Audio/lighting/video, security, rentals, food & beverage, equipment providers (free accounts).
Core capabilities (in plain English)
- Manage event information — create events, track details, and capture post-event reporting (set lists, attendance, finances).
- Manage profiles — different profiles for promoters, venues, artists, fans, and contractors.
- Manage venues — location and venue details for better coordination.
- Set lists — build and record what was performed (artist-driven or event-driven), supporting clean reporting.
- Availability calendar — show availability for artists/venues/contractors and track in-system bookings.
- Find events — search and filter by location, artist, venue, or promoter; share filter links.
- Social media distribution — schedule automated event posts (weekly → daily cadence as show date approaches).
- Reporting dashboards — help promoters with quarterly PRO filings + analytics (attendance by venue/artist/date).
- Messaging — private, controlled user-to-user messaging with solicited vs unsolicited inboxes (no email exposure).
